What it proves — and what it doesn't

We're going to be clearer here than this industry usually is, because the confusion hurts everyone.

Why be so blunt about it? Because there are courses selling "professional certifications" for twenty bucks, and that's simply false. We'd rather you know exactly what you're getting. That same honesty runs through all of the course content — and it's the reason you won't find doses in it either.

So what's it good for?

• As documented, assessed continuing education. With your name, the date, your grade and an ID anyone can check. It doesn't show that you clicked through some lessons: it shows you passed ten exams. That's what sets it apart from certificates you can download just for reaching the end.
• As backing for your judgment. For trainers, coaches and wellness professionals who want to show they took their education seriously. It does not qualify anyone to prescribe, recommend or supervise the use of any substance: that's the job of a licensed healthcare professional.
• As a finish line. Sounds minor, but it isn't: knowing there's a certificate at the end is what gets people to finish the course. And the people who finish are the ones who actually get the value.

With that said, let's be honest again: the paper isn't what gives you authority. It's being able to look at a label, ask for the COA and know whether someone's selling you snake oil. The certificate is the result; judgment is the product.

How to earn it

1. Sign in to the course and study at your own pace. No dates, no schedules.
2. Mark each lesson complete as you go. A progress bar shows how far along you are.
3. Once you reach 100% of the 120 lessons, the exams unlock.
4. Pass the nine module exams (10 questions each) and the final exam (30). The minimum is 80 out of 100, and you can retake them as many times as you like.
5. Enter your full name, your signed certificate ID is issued with your grade, and you download it as a PDF.

How to check that it's genuine

The certificate ID isn't a random number: it's generated from your name and the year using a signature only PeptiXtreme can produce. That's why it can be verified without us having to confirm anything over the phone — and why nobody can fake one.

1. Go to the verification page.
2. Enter the certificate ID exactly as printed, plus the name on the certificate.
3. It tells you instantly whether it's genuine, and what year it's from.
